The biggest electrical mistake we see in caravans is oversized systems sold by retailers chasing margins. A grey-nomad couple touring caravan parks doesn't need 600Ah of lithium and 1200W of solar. A weekend free-camper might genuinely need exactly that. Most installs we see have it the wrong way around.
Before quoting an upgrade, we ask how you actually camp โ powered sites, free camping, average run-time on appliances, peak loads. Then we size the system to that real-world use, plus reasonable headroom. Sometimes that means a smaller system than you expected. Sometimes bigger. Always: honest, with our reasoning shown.
